After eight seasons as the straw the stirred the drink in the Windy City, Derrick Rose has taken his talents to the Big Apple to do the same for the New York Knicks. The veteran point guard looks to regain his former status as one of the best players in the NBA. Rose was the 2008-09 NBA Rookie of the Year and the 2010-11 NBA Most Valuable Player. The following pair of Adidas 'DROSE1' shoes were worn by Rose during his memorable rookie campaign. The size 11.5 shoes have each been signed in 9/10 silver Sharpie with additional inscriptions “#1”, “R.O.Y.”, and “GAME WORN”. The black and shoes with shiny plastic uppers are the first edition of Rose's signature model sneakers and have a eye-catching design befitting of the his dynamic style of play. They show obvious and appropriate game wear, and come with their original white laces. Rose averaged 16.8 points and 6.3 assists as a rookie to take home the ROY award.
