Kobe Bryant wore No. 24 in high school before switching to 33. When he was drafted by the Hornets and traded to the Lakers in 1996, No. 33 was retired in honor of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and No. 24 was taken by George McCloud, so he decided on No. 8. Bryant changed his number to 24 for the 2006–07 season. Offered here is a 2006-07 Kobe Bryant Los Angeles Lakers game-ready home jersey matching exemplars for size and specs. The gold shirt features purple and white striped side panels with all proper sewn identifiers. It is appropriately tagged on the outer tail with Adidas label and flagged for size 54, Length +4, and 2006-07. It may have been issued to Kobe, but we have no reliable source or provenance as to its game use. It exhibit no obvious signs of wear. Regardless, a great game-issued example of Kobe’s first year wearing No. 24.
