In 1996-97, center Vlade Divac was playing his first season with the Charlotte Hornets after spending the previous seven seasons battling for the L.A. Lakers. Divac averaged 12.6
points and nine rebounds per game in his first year in Charlotte and helped the team record 54 victories before being ousted by the New York Knicks in the
opening round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Glen Rice, meanwhile, was Charlotte's small forward and led the team in scoring by averaging 26.8 points
per contest. A year later, Rice was averaging 22.3 points and 4.3 boards per game.
This lot features a pair of game worn Charlotte Hornets jerseys from both players; Divac's road jersey from the 1996-97 campaign and Rice's home version from the 1997-98 season. Divac's jersey exhibits minimal use throughout the teal mesh top and includes proper Champion manufacturer's tagging [size] 48" on the left front tail.
