This particular style of Nike’s Air Force STS shoes date to the 1989-90 season. Starring for the Philadelphia 76ers in his 6th NBA season "Sir Charles" averaged 25.2 points and 11.5 rebounds per game, and he shot a career-best 60% from the floor. It was his second of six All-NBA 1st Team honors and his 3rd straight All-Star appearance, an incredible run that would reach 11 straight by 1997. This pair of well-worn Barkley shoes have both been autographed by the “Round Mound of Rebound” on the outer heel in black marker. The tri-color (white, red and gray) Nike AIR Force shoes certainly show game usage with both foam soles deteriorating and separating over time. Both shoes are sporting prominent red Nike Swooshes on either side and both tongues are padded with leather white outsides as well as red cloth insides. They come in size 15 and are appropriately tagged on the interior with "890507CH2" to denote the manufacturing date. A very unique gray-and-white design appears just above the rubber soles on either side of both shoes. Even the original white shoelaces appear to be intact.
