This classic Seattle SuperSonics warm-up jacket was donned by 7-time All-Star, Jack Sikma, in the early 1980s following the Sonics’ lone NBA title in 1979. Arguably the most accurate shooting big man from that era, the 6' 11” center averaged a double-double over his consistent 14-year career (1977-91) and retired in 1991 with 17,287 points and 10,816 rebounds—Hall of Fame worthy stats in many eyes. His style of play may have come a few decades too early to be truly appreciated. This jacket is a rare style worn in both 1981-82 and ’82-83, during which Sikma was at his prime averaging an impressive 19 and 12 per night. It appears to be an exact photo-match to Getty 496867564 based on the location of the NBA embroidered logo patch on the left sleeve end.

The front of the mostly green snap-button jacket has the SuperSonics' Seattle skyline logo on the left with his jersey number "43" in yellow on the right. The back features his name "SIKMA" screen-printed in white with a green outline—a slight variation to the late 1970s style with the back letters in green outlined in white. The Seattle skyline on the late 70s version also has a minor color variation on the Seattle Skyline logo, with white and yellow reversed. Medalist Sand-Knit manufacturer's tagging in size 46 appears inside the shirttail, with “3” stitched on the label in green. An additional Sand-Knit tag with "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Seattle Supersonics" tagging appears inside the rear collar. Sikma has signed the front shoulder in 7/10 black marker. What an awesome piece to own from the franchise that now calls Oklahoma City home.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
