After the 1986 season, Julius Erving’s tenth with the Philadelphia 76ers, he became a free agent. Sixers brass were confident they would retain their franchise’s biggest star. However, the Utah Jazz tried to throw a wrench in their plans, offering the living legend a two-year contract worth a reported $3.8 million. Part of Utah’s process to lure Erving out of Philly included bringing him to Utah for a lavish welcome tour whereby they presented him with the offered jersey. This Utah Jazz home replica jersey features Erving’s number “6” on front and back with his name “ERVING” arched across the the top back. A reminder to Utah fans of what might have been, the jersey has been signed on both the front and back by Dr. J in black sharpie.

Includes a signed LOA from Julius Erving confirming it originated from his personal collection. Autographs pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
