As the NCAA’s Player of the Year in 1991-92, Christian Laettner was the sole college player to join America’s “Dream Team” in the 1992 Olympic Games in Seoul. Partnered up with Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Patrick Ewing and Larry Bird, Laettner contributed four points a game as USA easily won Gold. As part of what is considered the greatest basketball team of all-time, Laettner was voted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame and presented with this Class of 2009 trophy. The trophy is a crystal pillar engraved with “Christian Laettner 1992 Men’s Basketball Class of 2009” set upon a black marble base with the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame logo. The trophy is 12" tall and 3 lbs. and has been signed on the base by Laettner in silver pen with his number “32” inscribed.
