Presented here is Christian Laettner's 1992 Chevrolet Division 1-A Player of the Year trophy awarded by the CBS Sports Staff at the end of his sensational senior season that sealed his fairy-tale Duke basketball career. The massive wood-based trophy stands 40" tall, weighs over 20 lbs. and comes in three sections. The first sits on a flat 15" by 15" wooden base with a 12" by 12" by 5" wooden platform and a plaque displaying the title of the award. Laettner has autographed the top of this section with his No. "32" inscribed in bold 9-10/10 black Sharpie.

The second section is light brown/orange wooden block with a Chevrolet Scholarship Program medallion and basketball figurine on top, standing 12" tall altogether. Four long brass pillars (18") hold up the third and top section with a black plaque reading "Christian Laettner - Duke University" and a gold-colored spread eagle on each of the four upper section corners. A large metallic (presumably brass) gold-colored basketball sits on top giving it an impressive and grandiose physical appearance. Fantastic piece that will end up in the hands of one lucky collector.

Includes LOA from Christian Laettner. Autograph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
