For many years Hillerich & Bradsby presented each of the World Series teams with a limited edition black commemorative bat. These three were issued to Jim Bouton for the 1962, 1963 and 1964 World Series. The 1962 bat is a “World Champions” model and features facsimile signatures of every member of the team stamped in gold. The 1963 and 1964 bats are “American League Champions” models and also feature the signatures of the team in gold. These bats, sadly no longer issued to World Series teams, are highly collectible and visually very impressive. The bats show some very light wear from storage and display, and each has a screw hole in the knob and barrel ends which was presumably done for mounting.
