Early in his career Jim Bouton had the good fortune to pitch for the New York Yankees, the perennial America League pennant winners. Bouton’s pinstripe career coincided with the last of the great Yankees teams that won ten World World Series in sixteen years. Each fall bat maker Hillerich & Bradsby supplied custom bats to the players of each World Series team with the special “WORLD SERIES” barrel stamping. This collection consists of the bats issued to Bouton for the 1962, 1963 and 1964 World Series. Each bat is a K55 model with “BOUTON” stamped into the barrel along with the year of the World Series. All three bats show light use with bat rack paint streaks and some abrasions visible on their barrels. All three bats have a screw hole on each end which was presumably done for mounting.

Includes an LOA from Jim Bouton.
