The Yankees of the 1950’s are best remembered for their awesome offensive output of Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra and Bill Skowron. However, baseball isn’t all hitting, and it was an airtight infield that helped the Yanks win every bit as much as their bats. From 1955 through 1966 Bobby Richardson was the man who held down second base for the Bronx Bombers. An 8-time All-Star, Richardson used this bat during his first couple of seasons in New York. The Hillerich & Bradsby N20 model bat displays heavy game use and has been cracked. The bat is 34.5 inched in length and weights 29.5 ounces. The Yankees second-sacker has signed the barrel in black marker between the center brand and stamping, adding “1957 Game Used”.

LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA.
