A young Commerce Comet graced the cover of the August 1951 issue of Baseball Magazine. Mickey Mantle has signed the front in a thick but now faded 5-6/10 blue or black marker. The magazine issue itself is in remarkable shape, the only blemishes being on the back in the form of a tiny paper loss spot and two jammed left-hand edges from how it was framed and displayed. The cover is clean, sharp and lush with color. All the pages inside are intact and perfectly bound. Great autographed item from the Mick's rookie season in the big leagues wearing Yankee pinstripes.
