Back in 2012 ESPN ranked the greatest hitters of all-time, and coming in right at number one and two were Babe Ruth and Ted Williams. The selection shocked no one - Williams has gone down as the purest hitter the game had ever seen, and Babe Ruth - well, he was Babe Ruth! Between the two of them you have statistically the most awesome hit and power combo imaginable. Both of these hitting giants have signed this Reach Official American League ball. The Babe has signed in his customary spot on the ball’s sweet spot in brilliant blue ink (8/10), while Ted has signed the panel above, also in blue ink (6-7). The ball has been coated with shellac and the ball has taken on a warm, golden color with age. There is toning throughout the ball’s surface and the some abrasions and chips in the shellac visible, none of which distract from the two signatures. You couldn’t ask for a better signed ball that represents hitting better than this Ruth-Williams combo, a quite rare dual-signed combo at that.
