This Official American League (William Harridge) baseball features a lovely Babe Ruth signature in blue fountain pen on the sweet spot that rates 8.5/10 in our book. The printing format utilized in the Harridge presidential stamping first appeared in 1946, dating the autograph to the final years of The Babe's iconic life. An "11" is marked in black just below in unknown hand. The ball's light, uniformly toned surface shows moderate handling, light soiling and light scuffing, giving it a rating of 5/10 in our opinion. Manufacturer's stamps are mostly legible. A Ruth single of this quality certainly constitutes a cornerstone for any significant sports or Americana collection. Overall condition is an estimated 6.5-7/10 (Near Mint).
