Scarce and historic New York Yankees World Series press pin dating from the club’s first World Championship in 1923. The circular-shaped pin (7/8-inches in diameter), manufactured by Dieges & Clust, is complete with its original threaded post and clasp. "WORLD SERIES" in gold on blue enamel at top, "PRESS" in gold below, "1923" in gold on white enamel baseball at center, and "NEW YORK" in gold on red enamel at bottom. The pin displays minimal wear but does have two extremely tiny surface faults to the very fragile white-enamel baseball at center. Excellent condition overall for this key press pin from the 1920's.
