Kris Bryant finished the 2016 season on top of the baseball world after being named National League MVP and helping lead the Chicago Cubs to their first World Series title in 108 years. The second overall pick in the 2013 MLB draft, Bryant had quick two-game stint in the Arizona Fall League before suiting up for the Boise Hawks, the Cubs’ short season Single-A affiliate in the Northwest League 2001-14. (The Hawks are now a Rockies affiliate.) He only lasted 18 games in Boise due to his scorching .354 batting average. Presented here is Bryant’s minor league debut game worn jersey with the Boise Hawks. Bryant slugged four home runs and 16 RBI in Boise on his way up the farm system before his dazzling 2015 NL Rookie of the Year campaign.

The gray Wilson 100% polyester button-down jersey comes in size 48 with “BOISE” across the front in orange and yellow tackle twill outlined in sparkly red and green. Bryant’s No. “25” on the front and back comes in sparkly green outlined in orange. The Hawks logo is screen-printed on the right gray sleeve with claw marks covering the left green sleeve. The shirt shows solid game use with stretching and puckering. Minor league jerseys of this variety are super rare to surface in the hobby. The consignor used to work for the Vancouver Canadians (Blue Jays) of the Northwest League in their media department and acquired this jersey directly from the team.

Includes LOA signed by Boise Hawks current GM, Bob Flannery
