Counting both his NPB (Japan) and MLB career totals, the speedy center-fielder is the all-time hit king at 4,308 after surpassing Pete Rose in 2016 and then reaching the elite 3,000 Hit Club. A crucial element to reaching these numbers is Ichiro's unique batting stance and hitting form, tapping his feet to time the pitcher's delivery and getting a split second head-start from the left side of the box to get him to first base as quickly as possible.
These offered Ichiro 2012 game-worn and signed cleats are light as a feather and a perfect representation of the future Hall of Famer's greatest skill as a lead-off hitter: speed. The Asics 'Ichiro 51' custom signature model cleats come in black and silver with red "Ichiro"-stamped insoles on the interior and "51" stamped to the outer heel. No size is indicated but they appear to be around 9-10. He has signed the right shoe in 9/10 black marker with "#51 GU" inscribed. They show excellent game wear with dirt still stuck to the eight metal spikes on each outsole.
