In 2002 John Smoltz (HOF) set the Braves single season record for most saves with (55). It would also be the last year that Smoltz, Glavine and Maddux would all pitch together for the Braves in what was one of the great rotations of the era. The Atlanta Braves did also win an amazing 101 games that season. This lot offers an official game worn road jersey from John Smoltz’s historic 2002 season. The Russell Athletic polyester grey road jersey is properly tagged throughout and shows light game use characteristics. Smoltz been signed the jersey in silver sharpie across the reverse on the number “2” of his number “29”. Signature is a flawless “10” for strength and eye appeal. Front displays the classic “Atlanta Tomahawk” logo across chest.
