It was with the Giants, beginning in 1993, that Barry Bonds emerged as one of the greatest power hitters in baseball history. During the five-year span of this bat's manufacturing period Bonds averaged nearly 40 home runs a season, including a League-leading total of 46 in 1993.

Presented is a 34", 31-oz. Louisville Slugger game bat used by future Hall of Fame slugger Barry Bonds during his early years with the San Francisco Giants. The model "H238" bat is composed of top quality white ash and features his full name, "Barry Bonds," deeply stamped on the barrel in block letters. Bonds' uniform number "25" is written on the knob in black marker. Heavy game use is evident along the entire length of the uncracked bat in the form of ball marks, rack marks and pine tar along the upper handle. A superb early career gamer from the reigning Home Run King.
