Tim "Rock" Raines got his start in Major League Baseball with the Montreal Expos (1979 to ’90). A career .294 hitter, Raines collected 2,605 hits during the course of his 23-year big league career. This lot features a 1986-92 era Tim Raines Cooper professional model game-used bat. The two-tone, 34" Cooper Pro 100 model bat shows incredible game use with remnants of pine tar up and down the bat handle area with a foot-long crack leading from the top of the handle to the bat’s barrel. Plenty of bat rack marks and contact marks litter the sweet spot of the barrel where Raines came around on more than one fastball. His uniform number "30" appears on the knob in black marker.
