The Igniter batted a combined .316 during the seasons this bat dates to. Monitor led all AL batters in doubles and runs in 1987 and won a pair of Silver Slugger Awards. Molitor’s Louisville Slugger H176 model bat shows excellent use and is un-cracked. The barrel shows many ball mars with stitch impressions along with tremendous white leather ball scuffs and blue ink transfers. Many cleat imprints are visible and the handle has been sanded down to enhance the grip. Monitor’s number “4” is on the knob in white paint. The Igniter has signed the barrel in gold marker to top off an awesome Hall of Fame-worthy bat.
PSA/DNA certification sticker (1B03400) verified the bat as authentic and game-used.
