In 1966, the Seattle Angels were managed by Bob Lemon and finished as the top ball club in the hotly contested, 12-team Pacific Coast League. After securing the PCL's Western Division flag with a regular-season record of 83-65, the Angels went on to defeat the PCL's Eastern Division Champion Tulsa Oilers in a tight, seven-game series. The occasion also marked the last time a professional baseball team won a championship for the Emerald City. This lot features Manager Bob Lemon's 1966 Seattle Angels Pacific Coast League Championship ring. The 14K gold ring's relief is decorated with "Seattle Angels" and the team's logo on one shank and dated crossed bat/ball decor and "1966" on opposite shank. The top of the size 12.5 ring features and inset dark blue stone with "Pacific Coast League Champions" surrounding. The interior band is inscribed "Bob Lemon" along with the manufacturer and "14K."

Includes LOA from the Lemon Family.
