Between the three of them, pitcher Bob Lemon, first baseman Charlie Grimm and pitcher/outfielder/first baseman Al Maul played and/or managed in the major leagues for 58 years. They each made considerable contributions to Major League Baseball and Lemon is enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame.  This lot features each of their respective Major League Baseball Lifetime Passes. The measurement for both the Grimm and Maul bronze passes is 4.25" wide by 2.75" high, while Lemon's bronze pass measures 2.75" wide by 1.75" high. Each of the three passes has the following text engraved across the front: THE NATIONAL AMERICAN MAJOR LEAGUES OF PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL PRESENT THIS LIFETIME PASS TO [insert AL MAUL, CHARLEY GRIMM or ROBERT LEMON] IN APPRECIATION OF LONG AND MERITORIOUS SERVICE." Both Maul and Grimm's passes, issued much earlier than Lemon's, include the engraved signatures of American League President William Harridge and National League President Ford Frick. Lemon's reflects the engraved signatures of Harridge and N.L. President Warren Giles. Please note Grimm's first name is mispelled "Charley" and not "Charlie," the latter being correct.
