In 1957, the 95-59 National League Champion Milwaukee Braves defeated the A.L. Champion New York Yankees in an exciting, seven-game World Series. Milwaukee's ace right-hander Lew Burdette (17-9) proved to be too much for the Yankees as he notched three victories during the series and struck out a total of 13 Bronx Bombers.  This lot features a rare 1957 Milwaukee Braves World Series Champion money clip. The two-inch long, 10-karat gold money clip sports Milwaukee's old "Indian Brave" logo wearing both a white enamel feather that reads "Braves" in gold and a red crown that reads "1957 WORLD CHAMPS" in gold. A great memento celebrating Milwaukee's and Hammering'  Hank Aaron's one and only World Series title.
