This interesting lot contains (4) autographed 1948 Bowman Football cards including #14 (Frank Seno), #23 (Don Kindt), #26 (Bob Waterfield) and #29 (Marlin Harder). All signatures are on the front of the cards and in blue or black ink (8-9/10). The 1948 Bowman Football cards are in mostly VG-EX/EX condition. Also included is a related letter from Don Kindt he returned in the mail with his card with interesting Detroit Lions content. Written in black ink on hotel letterhead, Kindt writes and signs “PS- That’s the first time I have seen or heard our pictures were on these Gum Cards” and describes the tough path ahead for the Lions on the road.
