Charles “Kid” Nichols played 15 seasons in the majors and notched 360 victories over that span, still ranking among the game’s all-time winners. Nichols was an immediate success, and after being signed by Boston in 1890 he won 20 or more games every year for his first 10 seasons, relying almost completely on his fastball throughout his career. From 1890 to 1906 Nichols played for the Boston Beaneaters, St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies. Presented here is a Nichols signed 3.5” by 5” snapshot-sized photo of a framed artist’s rendering of the pitcher. The signature starts with bold ink flow which fades towards the last name “Nichols”. Photo itself is in NM condition. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA (Authentic).
