Offered here an immaculately preserved complete Bazooka Gum box from 1962 showcasing the original manner of distribution for the scarce and highly visual Bazooka card panels. This complete box reveals that bright red-yellow-and-blue graphics surrounded a cellophane window on the box's front. The clear material enabled a tempting view of the contents, 20 "Double Packs" of Bazooka gum. An uncut, 2-3/4" x 5-1/2" panel—featuring Sandy Koufax, Jim Gentile and Johnny Callison—appears on the box's underside. This rare container is factory-fresh and has never been folded for assembly, with end flaps and cellophane intact and only light touches of wear on the end-panel extremities. Minor surface faults, which were probably induced by routine handling during production, are the inevitable consequences of its fragile, unbolstered construction. The panel's condition discrepancies are limited to a trace of scuffing in Callison's caption area and a tiny pressure dent at the lower edge of the Koufax design. The box exhibits NM overall display quality. Virtually impossible to find in this state of completeness, this is a very desirable advertising relic as well as a fabulous baseball card collectible.
