Arguably the biggest star on the Braves roster is heavy hitting first baseman Freddie Freeman. This bat was used by Freeman in 2014, when the then 24-year old slugger was named to the NL All-Star squad for the second straight year. The Marucci CB15M bat shows excellent use with a handle crack. Numerous ball marks and stitch impressions are visible along with cleat imprints and the impression from a weighted batting donut. A hefty coat of Mota Stick is present on the lower handle. The date of manufacture “04/22/14”, Freeman’s number “5”, length “4” and weight “2.0” are stamped into the knob end. An MLB Authentication hologram on the barrel (EK696650) pinpoints usage to a May 22, 2014 game in Atlanta vs. Milwaukee. Freeman cracked the bat in the first inning by fouling off a pitch from Matt Garza.
