As an 18 year-old kid just out of high school, Angels star Mike Trout began his ascent to greatness with the Cedar Rapids Kernals of the Midwest League (A) in 2010. In Trout's first full pro season he hit .362 for Cedar Rapids and then was moved up the ladder to the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (High A) where he batted .306, leading Topps to name him 2010 Minor League Player of the Year. This bat dates from that 2010 season in which Mike Trout established himself as the game's most exciting prospect.

"The Millville Meteor" used this Old Hickory Pro Maple J143 bat in 2010 during his 81-game stop at Cedar Rapids. The attached photos of Mike hitting a double during the 2010 XM All-Star Futures Game at Angel Stadium on July 11, 2010 show him using the same style and model bat. Weighing 32.1 ounces with a length of 33.25 inches, this maple stick has a natural finish with a spiral tape application and pine tar on the cracked handle. Outstanding use appears in the form of numerous ball and stitch marks visible on the barrel, in addition to blue transfer marks and green rack marks. A donut ring impression is visible as well. Trout has signed the barrel in 9/10 black marker.

Includes LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA with a game used grade of 8. Autograph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
