Nice pairing of game-used sticks from two Hall of Famers who knew a thing or two about scoring, and who were teammates for three years on the Dallas Stars 1998-2001. Brett Hull was one of the greatest goal scorers in NHL history. Certainly his heyday was with the St. Louis Blues where the right wing spent 11 seasons (1987-98) and was a perennial All-Star and Hart Trophy candidate. In three consecutive seasons (1989-92), he led the NHL with 72, 86 and 70 goals (not points, goals), an unfathomable total by today's standards. Mike Modano spent 20 of his 21 NHL seasons with the Minnesota Northstars/Dalllas Stars franchise before retiring in 2011. The center from the NHL's all-time leader in goals (557) and points (1,359) among American-born players.

The offered Brett Hull mid-1990's game-used Easton Aluminum 'HX 4800 stiff flex' stick is style-matched to the 1996 NHL All-Star game. It has white tape jobs on the upper handle and its Christian blade where he has signed and inscribed "Best Wishes" with his No. "16" in 8/10 black marker. Hull's stick shows light to moderate use on the shaft. Mike Modano's mid-late 2000's game-used Warrior 'dolomite' stick can be style-matched to numerous 2007 game photos. "M.Modano" is tamped on the shaft in white. It has a black tape job on top with its blade tape job removed. Modano has signed in 8/10 shiny silver on the untaped black blade. The stick shows shows moderate game use.

Includes Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum. Autographs pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
