June 6, 1944 Kenesaw Mountain Landis typed signed letter, written on Commissioner of Baseball letterhead, to National League President Ford Frick. Landis asks Frick to give him the date for the National League War Relief Games so he can notify the Treasury Department. Landis has signed in 8/10 looking vintage black steel tip pen ink. Landis died 11/25/1944. Letter written on D-Day!
