After winning the NFC East division with a 12-4 record during the 2000 regular season, the New York Giants entered the playoffs with a full head of steam. After defeating the Eagles 20-10 in the divisional round, the Giants pummeled the Minnesota Vikings 41-0 in one of the most lopsided NFC Title games ever. That set up a meeting with the Baltimore Ravens in Super Bowl XXXV. With a menacing defense led by Ray Lewis, the Ravens were a handful for the New York and took out the Giants, 34-7. In spite of this loss in the big game, the Giants' 2000 season will be forever revered among New York faithful. With the thunder and lightning backfield duo of Ron Dayne and Tiki Barber, a relentless pass-rusher in Michael Strahan, and quarterback Kerry Collins having the best season of his career, there were many great moments. Featured here is a gorgeous 2000 NFC Champions ring issued to starting cornerback Dave Thomas, a heavily coveted memento from that unique team.

This elegant 14 karat gold ring made by Jostens comes in a massive Size 15. The face showcases the iconic "NY" in block letters adorned with 16 real diamonds atop a sapphire stone. "NFC Champions" appears in raised letters on the face, with the entire perimeter lined with 39 more diamonds. In total, the diamond content is 1.38 carats. One shank has "THOMAS" and his jersey No. "41" engraved above a Giants helmet and the team's overall record that season of 14-5; the other shank has "41-0 Super Bowl XXXV 2000" and the George Halas NFC trophy. The Jostens emblem logo, "14K" and "Dave Thomas" are stamped inside the band. Thomas played nine year in the league (1993-2001), finishing up his final two with the Giants. He started all 19 games (including postseason) during their NFC title run in 2000, recording one interception, a forced fumble and 55 tackles in the regular season. He had a key fumble recovery in the Giants 20-10 playoff win over the rival Eagles. All elements of the ring come as-issued and problem-free. It remains one of the only 2000 NFC Championship player rings ever sold publicly. We auctioned fullback Craig Walendy's ring for $10,200 back in 2008.

Full LOA from PSA/DNA signed by President Joe Orlando.
