When Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw steps into the batter's box, he is no easy out. Kershaw typically posts an batting average hovering around .200 and has the ability to hit the long ball. Case in point being Opening Day 2013 when he launched a memorable solo home run to dead center at AT&T park that broke a scoreless tie in the 8th inning and secured a complete game shutout victory for Clayton over the rival Giants. Kershaw has worked hard to improve his skills with the bat, and offered here is his game-worn batting helmet from the 2010 season. The Rawlings blue helmet has the "LA" logo above the brim and Kershaw's No. "22" white decal on the rear above the MLB logo sticker. It is a single-ear helmet designed for a left-handed hitter like Kershaw. Inside is a white label with "22 Clayton Kershaw 2010" as well as a Rawlings sticker logo and an MLB official licensed hologram (DB 602957305). Coming in size 7 3/8 with an interior date dial that indicates November 2009 production, the helmet exhibits excellent game use with light pine tar coating on the bill, sweat staining on the interior padding, and surface scratches on the outer shell. Fantastic game-used piece from baseball's best pitcher who knows how to handle himself at the plate.

Includes J.T. Sports LOA signed by John Taube, renowned PSA/DNA authenticator.
