Presented here is a nice Dallas Stars road jersey game-worn by steady defenseman Sergei Zubov during the 1999-00 NHL season, one in which the Stars returned to the Stanley Cup Finals and came close to repeating as champions. Considered one of the best offensive defenseman in NHL hostory, the Russian spent 12 of his 16 seasons in Dallas, helping them win the Stanley Cup in 1999, and played in three All-Star games. The nifty green and black CCM mesh jersey comes in size 56 and has the 2000 Stanley Cup Finals patch sewn to the right chest (most likely added after the season and before it was sent to MeiGray for distribution) directly beneath the 2000 NHL embroidered patch. The Dallas Stars crest is at the center in green, white, gold and gold glitter tackle twill. Zubov's No. 56 is on the back and shoulders in black, gold and white tackle twill, the same scheme used for his name on a green nameplate above. His captain's alternate "A" patch is sewn to the left chest. The back of the jersey has green, white and gold accents in the form of a star which extends to both shoulders, and the Dallas Texas Star embroidered patch is found on each shoulder. A CCM label appears at the rear collar and also embroidered at the outer rear shirttail in silver next to another NHL patch. Tagging from MeiGray Group (NHL's official game-used memorabilia partner) appears inside the back tail with the Dallas Stars logo and "1999-2000 Collection Set 3" in green. Shirt shows moderate game use consisting of stick and puck marks (one noticeable on back '6') and fraying to the back letters. Comes problem-free and without alteration.
