In 1924, the New York Giants finished first in the National League with a record of 93–60, winning the pennant by 1.5 games over the runner-up Brooklyn Robins. They went on to the World Series for the fourth consecutive year under the supervision of Manager John McGraw, yet lost to the Washington Senators in seven games. A year later, the team finished in second place in the National League with an 86-66 record, 8.5 games behind the eventual World Series Champion Pittsburgh Pirates.

This lot features a prized, circa 1924-25 Official National League Spalding baseball with 12 signatures in black ink from the New York Giants. Though many of the signatures have faded over time on the toned baseball, several of still legible including Hugh Jennings, Irish Meusel, Walt Huntzinger, Travis Jackson and Frank Frisch. PSA/DNA has said the Travis Jackson has been traced over.
