Featured here is a Chris Pronger game-ready and autographed home jersey from the Anaheim Ducks 2006-07 Stanley Cup winning season. Chosen 2nd overall in the 1993 NHL draft, the Canadian is considered one of the best defenseman in the modern era. He is also viewed as one of the NHL's dirtiest players, having been suspended eight times. Pronger won the Hart Trophy as the league's most valuable player for the 1999–2000 season, becoming the first defenseman to do so since Bobby Orr in 1972. He was a Team Canada mainstay helping his country win Olympic gold medals at Salt Lake City 2002 and Vancouver 2010. 2006-07 was Pronger's first with the Ducks, and he certainly made an impact as the city of Anaheim brought home their first and only cup. He is not officially retired, but hasn't played since 2011 due to hits to his head and eye causing him to lose vision.

The CCM size 48 black home jersey has the Anaheim Ducks patch sewn across the front with Pronger's white "A" patch to denote captain's alternate. His No. 25 is stitched on both sleeves and on the back in white tackle twill with black and gold piping. 'PRONGER' is stitched on back in the same format. There is also a Reebok logo patch sewn on the back above the letters. Reebok tagging inside the collar reads "Authentic On-Ice Game Jersey" with a size 48 flag tag below it. CCM laundry tag inside the shirttail hem. Pronger has signed the back '2' in 8/10 black marker. The jersey has proper tagging but shows no visible game use, so we are calling it game-ready.

Includes Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
