Greg Monroe is currently the 6-11 center for the Milwaukee Bucks, but when he broke into the NBA in 2010-11 as a 20-year-old rookie, he was a member of the Detroit Pistons, a team he would stay with for the next five seasons. This lot features Monroe’s game-worn Opening Night (Dec. 26th versus Indiana) jersey from the 2011-12 season, a campaign that was shortened by 16 games due to the unfortunate lockout. On this particular night, the Pistons dropped a 91-79 decision to the Pacers but Monroe played well in the loss: eight points and seven boards in 21 minutes of playing time.

On the front left tail of the offered blue mesh jersey is the official “NBA Authentics” and "ADIDAS 3XL” manufacturer's tag. Attached to that are two additional manufacturer's tags reading "LENGTH +4" and “CLIMACOOL” on them. Across the front is "DETROIT" in red tackle twill outlined in silver. Below that and on the back is the player number "10" in embroidered red fashion outlined in silver. Across the back is the player name "MONROE" in white tackle twill sewn directly onto the jersey. On the left shoulder strap is the official "NBA" embroidered logo. The jersey reflects some game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.

Includes LOA from MeiGray Group with NBA Authentication # DPI01117.
