Program for the 2nd ever All-Star game, played at The Polo Grounds in New York on July 10th, 1934. National League starting pitcher Carl Hubbell struck out Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, Al Simmons, and Joe Cronin consecutively during his 3 inning stint but once he left the American League exploded for 9 runs the next 3 innings to win their 2nd All-Star Game 9-7. The 8-page program is loaded with period ads and not much else. It has been fairly neatly scored in pencil. About VG looking program has been folded both vertically and horizontally at one time. Top and bottom spine has split to staple.
