The late, great Mickey Mantle belted a total of 536 home runs during his illustrious, 18-year career with the New York Yankees. He led the Yankees to 12 World Series appearances and emerged victorious seven times. The three-time American League MVP (1956, ’57 and ’62) was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974.

This lot features an iconic and limited edition (#136/500) color photograph of “The Mick” taken by sports photographer Neil Leifer late in Mantle’s career. The photograph shows Mantle in his gray “New York” Yankee road uniform staring down yet another pitcher. The framed-and-matted presentation piece, which measures 21” wide by 27” high, is autographed by both Mantle and Leifer on the bottom. Their signatures appear in fine-point black marker and rate 8-9/10 in our book.

Includes USA hologram (#AAE16034).

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
