Assisted greatly by a tenacious Broncos defense that smothered league MVP Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers top-scoring offense, Peyton Manning got his second Super Bowl ring in the NFL's 50th anniversary game. More importantly, at least in the Manning household, he finally tied Eli. Featured here is a replica Vince Lombardi Trophy, named after the legendary Green Bay Packers head coach, commemorating the Denver Broncos third ever Super Bowl triumph and their first since Team President John Elway finished off his Hall of Fame career with back-to-back titles in the late 1990's. After what should be Peyton's final season, "The Sheriff" can now ride off into the sunset like Elway as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time. The robust trophy stands 17” tall and weighs 11 pounds, paying special tribute to Super Bowl 50 played on February 7, 2016 at Levi's Stadium, home of the 49ers, in Santa Clara, CA. The silver neck of the trophy, upon which rests a silver football, reads: “VINCE LOMBARDI TROPHY SUPER BOWL 50 AFC vs NFC.” It goes on to spell out the location and date of the game as well as the final score: “DENVER BRONCOS 24 - CAROLINA PANTHERS 10.” Both the football and the neck sections are made of stainless steel. The black marble triangular base (each side 9" long) features a black plaque with Peyton's authentic signature in shiny 10/10 silver marker.
