The 1964 New York Yankees finished with a record of 99–63, winning their 29th American League pennant, one game ahead of the runner-up Chicago White Sox. The Yankees, managed by Yogi Berra, went on to the World Series where they were defeated by the St. Louis Cardinals in seven games. This lot features a white OAL (Cronin) baseball signed by 25 members of the 1964 American League Champion New York Yankees in mostly 7-9/10 blue ball point pen. Adorning the sweet spot are two Hall of Famers, Mgr. Berra and Mickey Mantle. Fellow Hall of Famer Whitey Ford has also signed the baseball along with other notable players including Elston Howard, Roger Maris, Tony Kubek, Clete Boyer, Tom Tresh, Mel Stottlemyre and Jim Bouton.
