Offered here is an attractive 1996 Pro Bowl jersey game-worn by the late Junior Seau, one of the greatest linebackers in football history. After a lengthy 20-year career, Seau left this world way too young. Named 1st team All-Pro eight times and selected to the 1990's All-Decade Team, Seau was enshrined posthumously into the Hall of Fame in 2015. During the 1995 regular season, Seau recorded 111 tackles with two sacks, two interceptions and his only career TD (on a fumble return) to earn the trip to Honolulu for the February 4, 1996 All-Star extravaganza. Seau started at outside linebacker and the AFC prevailed 20-13. This came in the middle of an incredible stretch of 12 consecutive Pro Bowls for the Samoan star out of USC.

The AFC white-and-red Wilson micro-mesh jersey has a white AFC "A" patch sewn on the right sleeve directly beneath the embroidered Wilson "W", which also appears on the left sleeve amid an array of white stars. Seau's No. "55" appears on the front, back and shoulders in red-on-white-and-blue tackle twill. "SEAU" is sewn directly across the back in white tackle twill. The colorful Pro Bowl 1996 embroidered patch is sewn on the left chest, and the iconic NFL logo patch appears just below the neck. The tail holds the accurate Wilson manufacturer's tagging with a size 46 flag tag. Seau has signed the front numbers in 7-8/10 black marker with "#55" inscribed. The jersey shows appropriate single-event wear and comes essentially as-issued and problem free. It was sourced from Seau's Restaurant in San Diego, which closed a few weeks after his death in 2012.

Autograph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
