Drew Doughty is a top-notch defenseman for the Los Angeles Kings. He was drafted second overall in the 2008. He was twice voted the league's top offensive defenseman. Doughty made his NHL debut in 2008 as an 18-year-old and was named to the All-Rookie Team. He is a two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Kings (2011-12 and 2013-14 NHL season, two-time Olympic gold medalist with the Canadian national team at Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014, 2009 World Championship silver medalist, 2008 World Junior Championship gold medalist, and a Norris Trophy finalist from both the 2009-10 and 2014-15 NHL seasons.
This lot features Doughty’s 2011-12 Los Angeles Kings game-ready and signed road jersey and a signed photo-to-art-on-canvas piece. The white Reebok jersey (size 56) with silver and black highlights boasts the oversized L.A. Kings embroidered team logo patch across the front. The 100% polyester jersey includes the "Reebok" washing instructions tag on the inside left seam, while the L.A. Kings official Game Jersey 2011-12 tag is sewn right into the rear inside tail and includes “Darren Granger, Equipment Manager” called out in black. Doughty’s uniform number "8" can be found on either sleeve as well as the back of the jersey in black tackle twill outlined in silver. His last name – "DOUGHTY" – is positioned just above the number 8 on the reverse in black tackle twill sewn directly onto the jersey. Doughty has signed the back on the jersey in silver right on the numeral 8 and added “8” beside his signature.
In addition this lot includes an autographed color photo-to-art-on-canvas piece showing Doughty up close during a break in the action. He has signed the artwork in silver and added his uniform number “8” to his signature.
