Left wing Luc Robitaille, nicknamed “Lucky” by the L.A. Kings faithful, played 14 seasons in the City of Angels, and retired after the 2005-06 campaign with 668 goals and 726 assists to his credit. This lot features Robitaille’s 1997-98 autographed and game-worn Los Angeles Kings home jersey, a season in which he scored 16 goals and added 24 assist in 57 games played. The size 54 Starter white jersey includes proper tagging on the inside rear collar consisting of the “Center Ice Authentic Starter” tag, followed by the “Starter NHL” tag and the actual size “54-R” tag. The front of the jersey boasts the oversized “Kings” logo, while Robitaille’s iconic uniform number “20” is found on the back in black tackle twill outlined in white and silver as well on both sleeves in silver tackle twill outlined in black and white. The Alternate Captain’s “A” appears on the left breast are in black tackle twill outlined in white and silver. The NHL logo patch as well as a Starter insignia appear on the right rear tail. Robitaille’s last name appears in black tackle twill sewn directly onto the jersey across the shoulder area. Robitaille has signed the front of the jersey in black marker and has added “20” above his autograph. The jersey reflects substantial game wear with stick marks, snags and fraying of the letters and numbers throughout.

Includes LOA from L.A. Kings V.P. and General Manager Dave Taylor and Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum. Autograph is pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
