Defenseman Grant Ledyard played 23 years in the NHL includi ng five seasons with the Dallas Stars (1993-94 to 1996-97 and again in 2000-01). This lot features his mid-1990’s Dallas Stars game-worn home jersey, a period in which he tallied 20 goals and 84 assists while serving as a steady backbone on the Stars back line. The 100% polyester V-neck white pullover CCM jersey includes the proper manufacturer’s tag on the inside rear collar and “CCM” and the NHL logo insignias embroidered on the right rear tail. The front of the jersey is sporting a sewn-on Dallas Stars patch in the middle that measures 17” across. Five stripes (two green, two white and one black) wrap around the bottom of the jersey. His jersey number “12” can be found on the back in green tackle twill outlined in white and black, while his last name – “LEDYARD” – stretches across the shoulders in green tackle twill outlined in black sewn directly onto a white nameplate. A black stripe outlined in green runs from one wrist to the other and smaller versions of the Stars “State of Texas” team logo patch appears on either sleeve. The jersey shows solid game use with some stick marks and board burns evident on the front and back. Ledyard has signed the jersey in two places in black fine-point marker; on the front of the jersey as well as next to the number “1” on the reverse. He has added his uniform number “12” next to both signatures.
