Defenseman Grant Ledyard played 23 seasons in the NHL including five campaigns with the Buffalo Sabres (1988-89 to 1992-93). This lot features his 1990-91 Buffalo Sabres game-worn road jersey, a season in which he scored eight goals and registered 23 assists in helping the Sabres record a 31-10-19 record.
The 100% polyester V-neck blue pullover jersey includes the “Maska” manufacturer’s tag on the inside rear collar and “CCM" and the NHL logo insignias sewn onto the right rear tail. The front of the jersey is sporting a sewn-on Sabres old-school patch in the middle that measures 9.5” in diameter. Three yellow stripes wrap around the bottom of the jersey as well as on both sleeves. His jersey number “3” can be found on the back in yellow tackle twill outlined in white, while his last name – “LEDYARD” – stretches across the shoulders in yellow tackle twill sewn directly onto a blue nameplate. A smaller version of the Sabres team logo patch appears on either sleeve. The jersey shows minimal wear.
Includes Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
