Offered here is a pair of game-used items from 2-time All-Star goaltender Felix Potvin who spent the majority of his 14-year career with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 1997-98 road blue jersey has the large Maple Leafs crest on the front and shoulders, with his name on the back and No. 29 on the back and sleeves in white tackle twill. The Nike and Center Ice manufacturer's tagging inside the collar indicates a size 58G. Inside the back tail is the Maple Leafs team tagging patch with "1997 1998 GAME WORN LIMITED EDITION." The sweater shows solid wear with pilling on the front left tail and some puckering or indentations on the back numbers. 1997-98 was his last season as a starting goaltender in Toronto before he was traded to the Islanders. He finished 26-33 with a 2.73 GAA and five shutouts. The Koho 'Revolution' goalie stick was used by Potvin during the 1996-97 season. "F.POTVIN" and "20 NOV. 1996" are stamped on the shaft. It has a white tape job on top with a black tape job on the blade, showing solid game use with black puck and stick marks.

Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
