Canadian Bobby Dollas broke into the NHL in 1983 with the Winnipeg Jets and played 17 seasons as a steady defenseman. He was a member of the original 1993-94 Mighty Ducks expansion squad, and presented here is his game worn home jersey from their inaugural season paired with TPS gloves he wore during his 4 1/2 year stint in Anaheim in the mid 1990's. The white CCM jersey is tagged "INAUGURAL SEASON SET 1" inside the back tail. Behind the collar is a CCM Maska tag with a size 54 flag tag. The Ducks original team crest adorns the front, with Dollas' No. "2" on the shoulders and back in purple-on-white-on-teal tackle twill. "DOLLAS" is sewn in purple on a white nameplate on the back. The CCM and NHL logo patches are stitched on the outer back tail. The sweater shows superb game use, with three team repairs on the back right sleeve as well as numerous gashes and rips on both sleeves. There is also sweat discoloration on the nameplate and areas of significant fraying.

The gloves have "Louisville" stamped in white on the long purple pad and "DOLLAS" sewn on the padded teal wrist section. "TPS" is stamped in three places on each glove. They have that unkind stench of hand and body perspiration and show heavy game use throughout, with sweat discoloration, stick marks and leather fading, and paint transfers. A hole has almost worn through the left thumb. Overall, they have held up well in spite of obvious punishment on the ice.

Includes a Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
