Oh and by the way, he has also won 10 Gold Gloves, two batting titles, 2 Most Valuable Player awards and the 2001 Rookie of the Year (Fred Lynn is only other to win both MVP and ROY in same season). Yep, the man with a magic wand and rifle arm who runs like the wind will surely find a second home in Cooperstown some day. On this August 2, 2013 interleague matchup with the San Diego Padres at Petco Park, Ichiro went 1-4 with a stolen base and a run scored as the Yanks fell 7-2.
