Featured here is a lovely 1976 National League All-Star ring given to Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Bill Russell. Russell was named to the team as a reserve in the National League's 7-1 victory over the rival American League in the Mid-Summer Classic played at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia. The face has a raised baseball atop a dark red stone surrounded by "American National Baseball All-Star". "76" below MLB logo on one side with "Russell" atop a Liberty Bell design on the other. Inside stamped with "LBG QP". Ring size 10 3/4. Weight 28 grams. Has practically no wear. Comes in MT, almost pristine condition with its original Balfour presentation box (also in pristine shape). The ring was originally consigned to SCP from Bill Russell himself in our Summer 2013 Auction and sold for $3,114.
Includes Letter of Authenticity from Bill Russell.
